For the fourth consecutive year, Fundaci\u00f3n FLOR<\/strong> held the FLOR Awards ceremony, recognizing various organizations for managing diversity as part of their strategy.<\/p><\/p>

The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 16, at the Palacio de las Aguas Corrientes, where more than 300 people gathered\u2014including representatives from companies, social organizations, civil associations, special guests, and the entire FLOR Network\u2014with the goal of continuing to support the commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.<\/p><\/p>

\u201cThis award does not seek to recognize the actions already carried out by the winning organizations, but rather implies a commitment to deepen their work internally and to become benchmarks that inspire other institutions to follow the path of inclusion and diversity,\u201d commented Andrea Grobocopatel<\/strong>, Director of Fundaci\u00f3n FLOR, during the event.<\/p><\/p>

The jury was composed of Daniel Arroyo<\/strong> (National Representative), Luis Ovsejevich<\/strong> (Founder and President of Fundaci\u00f3n Konex), Bernardo Kosacoff<\/strong> (Economist and Professor at the University of Buenos Aires and Di Tella University), Fabiana Tu\u00f1ez<\/strong> (Executive Director of INAM), Lucas Utrera<\/strong> (Director of Sustainability at SMS Latinoam\u00e9rica), Laura Gaidulewickz<\/strong> (Founder and Director of Binden Group), Alejandro Melamed<\/strong> (Managing Director of Humanize Consulting), and Andrea Grobocopatel<\/strong> (President of Fundaci\u00f3n FLOR), who thoroughly evaluated each case and selected the finalists and winners. The entire selection process was audited by the international consulting firm BDO<\/strong>, which ensured that the winners met the following parameters:<\/p><\/p>

  • Enhancing individual differences to achieve greater creativity and applying it to concrete actions.<\/p><\/li>

  • Integrating diversity ideas and practices into day-to-day management.<\/p><\/li>

  • Celebrating and promoting differences among organization members to learn and grow through them.<\/p><\/li>

  • Having internal and external policies on Diversity Management.<\/p><\/li>

  • Promoting their actions within society.<\/p>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

    Based on the characteristics of the nominated candidates, various categories were defined, taking into account the differences in scope and approaches to diversity according to the size or type of organization. Within this framework, Iv\u00e1n de Pineda and Agustina Torchio (the event's hosts) announced the winners of the 2019 FLOR Awards:<\/p><\/p>

    • Large Companies Category: SAP<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • SMEs Category: En Casa SAD<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • NGO Category: Fundaci\u00f3n SIMAS<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • Public Sector Category: Museo de Arte Popular Jos\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez (MAP)<\/strong>.

La premiaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo el mi\u00e9rcoles 16 de octubre en el Palacio de las Aguas Corrientes, donde se reunieron m\u00e1s de 300 personas, entre ellos representantes de empresas, organizaciones sociales, asociaciones civiles, invitados especiales y toda la Red FLOR con el objetivo de continuar apostando al compromiso de fomentar la diversidad y la inclusi\u00f3n. \u201cEste premio no busca reconocer las acciones que llevan a cabo las organizaciones ganadoras, sino que implica asumir un compromiso para profundizar, internamente, su tarea y para convertirse en referentes que inspiren a otras instituciones a seguir el camino de la inclusi\u00f3n y la diversidad\u201d, coment\u00f3 Andrea Grobocopatel, Directora de Fundaci\u00f3n FLOR durante la jornada. El jurado estuvo compuesto por Daniel Arroyo (Diputado Nacional), Luis Ovsejevich (Fundador y Presidente de la Fundaci\u00f3n Konex), Bernardo Kosacoff (Economista y Profesor de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y de la Universidad Di Tella), Fabiana Tu\u00f1ez (Directora Ejecutiva del INAM), Lucas Utrera (Director de Sustentabilidad de SMS Latinoam\u00e9rica), Laura Gaidulewickz (Fundadora y Directora de Binden Group), Alejandro Melamed (Director General de Humanize Consulting) y Andrea Grobocopatel (Presidente de Fundaci\u00f3n FLOR), quienes evaluaron exhaustivamente cada caso y seleccionaron a los ternados y ganadores. Todo el proceso de selecci\u00f3n fue auditado por la consultora internacional BDO, qui\u00e9n procur\u00f3 que los ganadores cumplan los siguientes par\u00e1metros: Potenciar la diferencia individual para lograr una mayor creatividad aplic\u00e1ndola a hechos concretos. Integrar las ideas y pr\u00e1cticas de diversidad en la gesti\u00f3n del d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Celebrar y promover las diferencias entre los miembros de la organizaci\u00f3n para poder aprender y crecer gracias a ellas. Contar con pol\u00edticas internas y externas sobre Gesti\u00f3n de la Diversidad. Promover su accionar en la sociedad.\u00a0 \u00a0 De acuerdo con las caracter\u00edsticas de los candidatos postulados, se definieron diversas categor\u00edas entendiendo las diferencias de alcance y maneras de abordar la diversidad, en tanto el tama\u00f1o o tipo de organizaci\u00f3n.
