Giselle Petraglia, Executive Director of Fundación FLOR, highlighted this year’s record number of applications and thanked the organizations that took the time to share their efforts toward a more inclusive environment. “I invite each and every one of us to take responsibility for the positive transformation we want to see in the world, ensuring no one is left behind,” she added.
Meanwhile, Marcela Lomba, Academic Director of Fundación FLOR, compared diversity to an invisible cathedral built of ideas and values. “That perspective was once bequeathed to us by others. We are passengers in this construction. It is not the margins or the center that we aim to reach, but the construction itself. The pioneers are those who break through. We are a kind organization that seeks to expand and ensure these values become normal and a part of our daily lives,” she expressed.
Finally, Andrea Grobocopatel, President of Fundación FLOR, expressed: “I hope we all leave here more empathetic, committed, and innovative, because we have understood our differences. Our values are generosity, diversity, solidarity, and commitment. The invitation is to 'be FLOR'—to commit ourselves, to help, and to care.”
“I want to wish you much sweetness, health, and a good life.”
